Annual Taste of the Valley
Welcome
in foliage in Southern Vermont with a weekend of affordable
family fun!
Welcome in Foliage September 16th with the 1st Annual “Taste
of the Valley” under the big tent at Mount Snow. Then, check
out the exciting Iron Horse Downhill Mountain Bike Race
on Sunday September 17th at the base of Mount Snow. Enjoy
delicious food samples from our excellent local restaurants,
live music from our talented musicians, and the crafts of
our creative artisans. It’s only $7.50 for adults and $3.50
for kids 6-12. With a pie eating contest, face painting,
magician, 50/50 and a live auction, it’s an affordable weekend
of fun for the whole family!
Most of the inns, restaurants, shops and services will
be offering 25% discounts for the weekend, so reserve your
rooms now while they’re still available and save big. For

The doors for the 1st Annual “Taste of the Valley” will
open at 11am. Tasting will be from 11:30-1:30. At 1:30,
magician extraordinaire Jay McMahon will perform his mind
boggling magic. At 2pm there will be a pie eating contest
for young and old and fun games for the kids along with
a raffle for the adults. At 3pm get your blood pumping at
the exciting auction with items such as: Wave Runner rentals
for two from High Country on our pristine Lake Whitingham,
Twilight Golf pass from Haystack Golf Club, Two night stays
right here in the Valley and a three night trip to Orlando,
Florida courtesy of New England Vacation Tours and Southwest
Airlines. We have something for everyone!
A portion of the proceeds will benefit West River Habitat
for Humanity to give a deserving family a hand up, not a
hand out. The second house of this young chapter is nearly
complete and they are presently seeking a donation of a
building lot to begin the next home.
